Helpful Hint: How to brush your pet effectively

Start brushing from the bottom, and work your way up. Comb thoroughly after brushing to detect any matting or tangles you may have missed with your brush. Coming is key for all long haired pets. If you use only a brush, you may only be brushing the top coat and will miss all of the undercoat where matting begins. If this goes unnoticed, matting can become more severe and even painful for your pet.
